Some useful information to help you on your way!
Current lead time is 3-4 working days before being dispatched. (Our lead time may change depending on the time of year)
We use a 2-4 day tracked carrier for all crates, boxes, wine boxes, large signs & trugs (most mainland Uk addresses) Our smaller signs are sent 2nd class via the post office. We also offer a "Fast Track" service which will ensure your item is made and delivered within 5 working days (often using a next day courier service.)
If you need something urgently - please email before ordering and we'll confirm if we can meet this.
Personalisation - Please enter the wording exactly as you would like your sign/crate to be read, upper or lower case text...or both! Make sure your spelling is correct as we can’t be held responsible for your mistakes. On occasion, if we feel that some slight alterations to the text, font or size would make a better product, we would contact you first with this suggestion.
Mixing the fonts - Yes - sometimes it looks good to have two different fonts on the top and second lines - just include a message at the checkout which you want for each line and we'll do it.
Text lines / leaving a line blank- Different sized signs give you different amounts of text available. If you only want one or two line/s of text, simply type in “not required” into second or third line & we will space the text in the middle of your sign.
Arrows- If you would like an arrow on your sign, simply type "arrow left" or "arrow right" on the text box.
Sign finishes -Our signs are painted with layers of carefully applied paint, the edges & the personalisation is then very gently sanded, so as to give the impression of that gently distressed “shabby chic” look.
But please bear in mind our signs are made from wood, it`s a natural breathing product..it may have slight imperfections..Perhaps hair line cracks, knots etc.....we think it adds to the character!!
All our signs are sealed in a clear varnish to protect from the elements. Although you may have to brush some clear varnish on them after a year or so, if being left outside.
New look signs - this can be requested if you'd rather not have the sign sanded down for the "shabby chic" finish - just email us.
Product colours - we have done our best to ensure the photo's we use accurately denote the colour you will receive. However, shades may vary slightly.
Bespoke Colours - we can offer a bespoke colour option using Farrow & Ball paints for an additional £5 per item. Please choose your paint at http://www.farrow-ball.com/colours/paint/fcp-category/list and email us the code. Choose the bespoke paint option under Accessories. We will also happily match in to any branded paint colours where tester pots are widely available; just request this under details in "accessories".
Crates and Boxes - Can you print the text / branded logos up-side down, I want to display it up-side down for use as a coffee table display prop etc..?

Lids for crates - Yes we can offer lids for the small, medium and large sized crates; They sit on the crate without a hinge. Obviously they'll be the same colour as the crate - go to Accessories to find them.
Company Logos - We can re-produce most logos on our crates & signs, please email or phone our sales office and we can talk through your needs and quote accordingly.
I need my order by the weekend - If you need your order for a special occasion and are worried that it won't arrive in time, please email or ring but you'll need to select our Fast Track delivery option when placing an order.
Can I collect my crate or sign - We are not easy to find at our workshop and not always there at set times, so please check first before ordering.

I've changed my mind / have a problem with an order - contact us immediately by phone (0330 2233068) or email firstname.lastname@example.org (make sure you have received a reply within 24 hours or call us)
If WE make an error, we will rectify it asap and either refund or send out a new item without any cost to you.
If YOU make an error, we will do what we can to help rectify the matter but you will be responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred in doing so.
